Welcome Message From the Principal

Dr. Lydia Olivo - Principal

Dear Renaissance High School Families,

I am happy to be part of the Renaissance High School (RHS) family to serve as your principal. I began my career in education as an ASPIRE Instructional Assistant at Isbell Middle School. After that wonderful experience, I taught at Blanchard and Bedell Elementary Schools before becoming an elementary principal. Over the past ten years, I have served as principal of McKevett and Glen City Elementary Schools. As I begin my 25th year serving our Santa Paula Community, I am thankful to have the opportunity to serve families and students at the secondary level.

The RHS team consists of twelve staff members who are dedicated to supporting each students’ academic, behavior and social-emotional needs. We will strive to inspire our students to identify and reach their personal goals while building strong, lasting relationships. In a small school environment, students will have the opportunity to recover credits and return to the comprehensive high school or stay and graduate from RHS with a team of adults cheering for them every step of the way.

Our motto for this school year is A Year of Fabulous Transformation where our school staff will partner with RHS families to build upon past practices of ensuring student success in a safe learning environment. Parents and guardians are encouraged to become an active part of your child’s education and lean on the RHS team as partners. Please feel free to visit or call the office with any questions. I am eager to meet and get to know you all!

Go Knights!
